Donating Images
If you use Image Bank regularly then you know how useful it is, we would therefore encourage you to share your images with others. If you have images that you think might be useful to other lecturers, teachers, researchers, or the general public, then please donate them to the Image Bank. These images can then be used within teaching environments to enhance lectures, seminars and presentations. All images that are added to the Image Bank are watermarked to protect the owners copyright, and we require those using images to correctly credit the source.
All we ask is that your images meet the following criteria:
- Suitable subject matter for teaching and learning in archaeology
- Good quality, high resolution images
- They are your personal images and are therefore your copyright. We cannot accept images that are derived from other websites, books, journals, articles, etc.
- All images should be accompanied with good quality metadata (descriptive tags). If this information is incorrect, poorly entered or problematic then other users will find it difficult to find and use your image.
If you are interested in submitting your images to the Archaeology Image Bank please take time to read the Guidelines for Depositors section.
To add images to the Archaeology Image Bank you will need to become a registered user. Once registered you can login and add images to the resource. To do so please follow the 'Donate' link in the menu.
