Historic building recording was carried out prior to the demolition of Greenwall Lane Bridge, Doddiscombsleigh. The bridge was situated on an extension of the Teign Valley Railway that opened in 1903. It carried the railway over a track that also gave access to adjacent fields. The bridge and adjacent abutments to the railway embankment were constructed of local stone with brick used for the arch. It had a short lifespan of 55 years and no alterations were made to the structure.
