Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Gauloise 13 fabric

Fabric Visual Characteristics

There are two types of fabric. One is a fine orangey coloured calcareous fabric with very small inclusions and an orangey-beige surface. The other is sandy, rough to the touch, usually grey in the centre and lighter on the edges. It contains grains of sand and sometime orangey inclusions. The surface is pale, beige to grey or even orangey.

Fabric Petrological Characteristics

Petrological details not available although chemical analysis has been undertaken (Bocquet et alii, 1995).
