Administered by the Society for Medieval Archaeology

Awards are given to support travel or materials for research into some aspect of medieval archaeology. Funding for something which is a university course requirement is NOT given, but student-initiated projects are eligible.

Applicants must be current members of the Society

Applications, accompanied by the name and address of a personal referee should be sent to the Honorary Secretary by early February. They will be considered in mid-March and the awards made available from 1st April. A short report on the use to which the award has been put is required by the following March.
