In this study I want to look at certain aspects of the fabric of social life for Mesolithic and Neolithic populations of the Western seaboard. By pulling at some remaining threads (stones, the landscape, pots) and introducing some new material (anthropology, theory, analogy) it might be possible to recreate some aspects of this fabric, if you will, to darn a version of the past.
