Desert Island
Books

A Bone to Pick: Interview of Paul
Halstead
with
M.F. Lane and M.C. Giles
This started out a sequel to the interview with Mike Parker Pearson in issue 2 and ended up, rather like that interview, as four hours in the pub and a late night dinner to take the edge off. Paul talks about digging in Israel, Greece, and the Balkans, his attempt to take the pop music world by storm (well, kind of), and what it was like not to be in the 'coggie' playgroup at Cambridge in the late 1970s.
