Notes A salvage excavation undertaken in advance of an electrical substation on the banks of Stockyard Creek, Rathmines, NSW. A low density of artefacts, primarily silcrete were found along a lower slope/terrace adjacent the creek. This sample came from a piece of wood in the lower parts of the fabric contrast soil within which the artefacts (n=41) were found. It was considered to represent a basal date for use of the creek.
