Introduction

Eureka Lodge, Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Historic Building Recording (OASIS ID: crestwoo2-315784)

Crestwood Environmental Ltd. has been appointed by Mallard Homes to undertake a Historic Photographic Survey of Eureka Lodge, Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

Although the building is of local importance, both from its architectural presence and its connections with the Wragg family who founded the Wragg Pipe-works in Swadlincote during the late 19th century, the building was not deemed to meet the criteria required for Listing.

Health and Safety considerations restricted the survey to the exterior of the building only.
