Emplacement covering beach. Embrasure possibly intended for an anti-tank gun.
(Source: Field Visit 1987/01)
Large embrasure of a gun emplacement, perhaps still contained within the basement of the building at this point. This basement appears to form part of the harbour wall. The embrasure faces WSW across the bay, but is stepped on its S side so that the gun could be traversed to face St. Michael's Mount if needed. It is blocked today with a grill and wooden shutter.
(Source: Field Visit 2003/01/21)
Defended locality. Cassini ref. 944537. 11th Defence Regiment. The gun emplacement may have been part of this locality which may also have incorporated Chapel Rock.

6pdr. gun manned by the Home Guard. Ref. B.7. Cassini ref. 944537. It covered beach W of Marazion 9453.
