Hexagonal pillbox-type structure, but without a roof and open at the back. Height 7ft. Width 10ft. 6 x embrasures, providing all-round protection. Walls constructed of brick only. Concrete floor with pit, 6ft x 2ft x 2ft. 3in bolts and nuts set in concrete. [Recorder suggests site may have been for a direction finder for the local radar station, but it appears purely defensive and may have taken an AA gun].
