Six-sided pillbox [probably type 22], brick-shuttered, with an inner Y-shaped blast wall. It has the remains of Turnbull machine gun mountings at the embrasures, together with the remains of wooden shelves beneath. Soil and grass on the roof would have served as camouflage. The doorway is 27ins wide and 5ft high. There are 5 x embrasures and a doorway on the sixth side. The interior headroom is 7ft. The pillbox is in excellent condition with no sign of vandalism. Part of the defences of Predannack Airfield.
