Type 24 pillbox constructed from concrete blocks and reinforced concrete. Wooden door fitted to entrance and embrasures have been glazed as it is now used as a garden shed. A few years ago the exterior of the pillbox was completely covered in seashells cemented onto the walls. This is the central pillbox of a group of three built in a triangular shape to defend the road exit to adjacent Pendower Beach.
