Type 24 thick-walled pillbox. The rear wall, containing the entrance, is approx 18ft long, the exact opposite wall approx. 8ft long, and the other walls are 9ft or 10ft long. The pillbox is sunk into the ground, and there is a slight slope down into the entrance. There is no protective wall for the entrance. The concrete walls are approx 4ft thick with hollow brick shuttering on the outside only: this is rotting away. The entrance and embrasures are made entirely of concrete. The roof is approx. 18ins thick with approx. 12ins of earth. The interior anti-ricochet wall is made entirely of hollow bricks.
