A concrete pillbox in poor repair. The embrasures are so badly weathered that one cannot tell if there were any shelves at all; there are certainly none now. [Type 24 Pillbox in poor repair, possible removal of outer layer of brick or concrete work. Comments of Area Co-ordinator, Bernard Lowry].
(Source: Field Visit 1996/11/08)
Type 22 pillbox [sic] in poor condition, covering River Trent and railway E of Willington Power Station. [Recorder, Osborne, gives NGR - SK 319300, which is probably to this pillbox, although he denotes it as a type 22].
