Type 26 modified pillbox, approx. 10ft x 6ft internally, with 3ft thick walls. There is only 1 embrasure, which widens outwards in steps and is approx. 3 ins wide x 3.5ins high. There are 3 bolts in the floor beneath the enclosure, presumably for the Vickers Medium Machine Gun. The entrance is protected by a right-angled brick wall and exits directly through the high bank into the narrow lane against which it is built. It has concrete walls approx. 3ft thick, with brick block exterior. Concrete inside and concrete roof.
