Pillbox, built into wall of 17th century Woolpack Battery. Made of concrete blocks, with stone facing.

Pillbox 4 (Woolpack Point), Neatly disguised within wall angle of 18th cent. gun battery. Of concrete block construction and slender pentagonal plan to fit into the battery apex, and camouflaged by facing both seaward sides with coursed granite slabs to match the earlier walling of the battery. Now part of Guardianship Monument and scheduled as SM 15434, AI 139138. [AH551].
