Probably a type 24 thick walled pillbox, based on the fact that it is of a similar size to other pillboxes along the same stretch of the River Avon, all of which are type 24 thick walled. The pillbox is so overgrown that it is impossible even to see the entrance. All the embrasures that can be seen have been bricked up. Brick shuttering and concrete roof.
