Flat slab top, mixture of local stone and concrete. Embrasures now almost at ground level. Pillbox described by the recorder as of the 'Woodford Type'. [No description of the 'Woodford Type' exists; no further information from other records exist to ascribe a type]. - [from other Woodford examples, the type appears to have long embrasures, be set low in the ground, and have a thin, overhanging concrete slab roof - AWF].
