Off Mill Lane in trees on eastern side of stream, south of Woodford Airfield.
Flat top `Woodford' pattern, weapon/observation embrasures just below slab. Local masonry blocks plus cast concrete.
Pillbox described by the recorder as of the 'Woodford Type'. [No description of the 'Woodford Type' exists; no further information from other records exist to ascribe a pillbox type].

Pillbox overlooking road and river, facing bridge. The embrasures are approx. 6ft long. Located near to the pillbox is a small metal object approx. 7m away (one of the three photographs). The pillbox is situated in a small wood.
