A concrete cantilever-type pillbox giving a full 360 degree arc of fire. Inside, the breastwork wall is hexagonal to approximately waist height and is then formed into a circle to match the circumference of the roof. Just below the rim are the remains of an iron rail, possibly designed to support an MG or some form of sliding shield or shutter. The massive roof pillar is mushroom shaped with a recessed head space, and there is a small recessed bay [for ammunition?] at one point in the outer wall. The reinforced concrete roof is still turf covered.
