The flat face of the blocks are facing towards a field, at the northern end two blocks form a right angle to each other. The line then extends into the field and crosses what could be an anti tank ditch, now 8-10ft deep and 40 yds long. At ground level the blocks measure some 4-5 feet long, tops measure 41ins and the widths are approx 3ft. There are some 150 blocks set in a line following the embankment until they approach the small road bridge which crosses a railway.
