A pillbox situated on the W side of the outer harbour at Porthleven, overlooking the anti-submarine defence cable and the defence structures on the pier. It is constructed of concrete blocks with concrete roof. Internally, a blast wall protects the main inside area from the entrance at the rear. This wall has a 'V'-shaped reinforced concrete plinth running from it to the front walls to support the roof. Embrasures cover all aspects of the position.

Pillbox of a type 24 variation, the sides being parallel so it is shaped like part of an octagon in plan. Y-shaped internal wall built of breeze blocks. Concrete block cladding. Entrance is close to roadway, which is above the level of the pillbox and so acts like a blast wall. The lefthand embrasure in the rear wall is angled outwards slightly to allow it a wider field of fire. The front face overlooks a sheer drop.
