This is a type 24 pillbox built to defend Fowey Harbour from any attack from the E. It is sited and camouflaged within a hedgerow - by a local footpath known as Hall Walk Bodinnick (by the war memorial). Its embrasures face E, and the pillbox is dug well into the field, and is camouflaged with soil and trees on its roof. It has 4 embrasures with vents above: the walls are 29ins thick with an 11ins roof. Door 27ins wide. The pillbox has been blocked off at embrasures and door by concrete blocks.
