Pillbox, originally comprising two compartments: the main space five-sided with front walls splayed., 4.64m long and tapered from 0.92m to 1.35m wide and 2.14m high. The front and end walls are 1.05m thick with two wide embrasures to the front and narrow ones to the two ends, and the rear walls 340mm thick. At the rear is another chamber 1.22m x 4.03m and 1.42m high. A later extension at the rear is 1.6m x 4.03m and 1.77m high with walls 380mm thick, and with 4 small embrasures with a weapon table inside and a blast wall across the entrance, also with an embrasure. The walls are generally 290mm thick. The materials are concrete cast between brick walls laid as shuttering, 112mm thick to the 1.05m walls and to the extension laid-on-edge 75mm thick to the rest.
