Type 22 pillbox of standard brick and concrete construction. 5 main embrasures and pistol port covering entrance. Concrete roof 10ins thick laid in horizontal bands. Top has bevelled edges to allow water to run off. Entrance port with steps down. [Inside, the pillbox is flooded to a depth of 12ins; as there is a considerable amount of debris inside, entrance is very dangerous]. Internal T-shape blast wall. Embrasures 15ins wide externally, widening to 28ins internally; bevelled concrete top edge inside.
