Type 22 pillbox, of standard brick and concrete construction. Dimensions:- Bricks 9.5ins x 4.5ins. Walls 19.5ins thick. Concrete roof built in 5ins horizontal bands. Internal blast wall 39ins x 45ins x 9.5ins. Internal wall width 5ft 9ins. Internal height 76ins. Concrete floor covered with flood debris. Entrance step into entrance porch and then through internal entrance, down 30ins into pillbox. 5 embrasure 15ins x 8ins, externally widening to 28ins x 14ins internally. All cast in concrete. Pistol port 7.5ins x 7.5ins externally widening to 14ins x 9ins internally. Outside 5ft of structure protruding above ground level. Brick end elevations exposed on all corners.
