Type FW3/22 pillbox, concrete-faced. It has a brick external blast wall which is in poor condition.

Concrete-faced type 22 pillbox of variant form with an attached brick (slab-roofed) entry porch. Dug into the bank above the Canal, so standing low unlike adjacent UORN 8224. Internal brick anti-ricochet wall is present. Damage to E face and embrasure. Faces Canal (S). The embrasures have one level of stepping unlike UORN 8224. Built using horizontal wood planking for shuttering. The entry porch is becoming detached. Access possible including interior.
