This is probably a type 26 pillbox overlooking the River Severn. [Recorder unable to gain entrance owing to brambles, etc]. Above the entrance incised in the concrete are the words 'GO TO IT' [see photograph].

Location 200-250 yards along the railway line SW of Woolaston level crossing (ST 603992), some 10-15 yards in from the railway on the SE side of the line facing the River Severn - on the lip of a small disused quarry.
