Type 22 pillbox, with very thick detached blast wall (27ins of concrete plus 13.5ins of brick) to rear. 9ft 6ins walls. Corrugated iron spans the gap between the pillbox and the blast wall and earth has been added over this. Small embrasures, widely splayed to the outside.

Type 22 pillbox of variant form, with guarded covered concrete entrance; brick straight blast wall. Vertical wood inserts for shelves fitted under each embrasure. 4 x main embrasures blocked by brickwork. Entrance rifle embrasure blocked by later construction. Field of fire S towards Folkestone.
