Coastal observation post. 7ft 11in high. Red brick and concrete walls, flat concrete roof, concrete window sills and door lintel. Aggregate concrete floor. Remains of internal partitions visible: wooden beam in ceiling at right angle to door. Remains of two metal door hinges on left hand side of door, and wooden post ends in concrete lintel. Remains of internal brick compartment (toilet?) visible. Small wooden framed window and ventilation shaft with remains of metal grille inside this compartment. Two side windows have metal girder-like reinforcing lintels. Two front and two side windows have slate supports at base of brick pillars. Round hole (for pipe?) approx. 4in wide in lower wall near to 'toilet' compartment. This building is approx 60yds from searchlight on beach.
