Digital Object Identifiers

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are persistent identifiers which can be used to consistently and accurately reference digital objects and/or content. The DOIs provide a way for the ADS resources to be cited in a similar fashion to traditional scholarly materials. More information on DOIs at the ADS can be found on our help page.

Overview

The collection contains all but two of the reports published in EAA since 1975, with very recently published reports available only in Abstract form. The reports have been made available online in searchable pdf form together with their microfiche and any large foldout plans but without the additional material on CD-ROM. New titles will be added to the collection each year.

The format of EAA reports has changed a great deal since 1975. Early reports with their plain brown covers were printed from layouts produced on a typewriter. By 1983 reports were professionally typeset with illustrations 'stripped in' at print stage and archive material included on microfiche. Since 2003, reports have been printed from entirely digital layouts, sometimes accompanied by archive material on CD-ROM.

The pdf versions of EAA 1-100 have been scanned from the original publications, and the scans may be unclear in places. In case of doubt, users should consult the original print publication. For more information about EAA and how to obtain print copies of reports, visit http://eaareports.org.uk
