[Humble Heritage]

Humble Heritage is a small archaeological consultancy/contractor based in Yorkshire which provides specialist archaeological advice for those involved in the planning process. We help clients to achieve planning permission and heritage consents, specialising in planning applications, discharge of archaeological planning conditions and also funding bids in order to help unlock the development potential of historic places and manage change. We have an extensive and proven track record of completing projects to time and budget.

We can design and carry out strategies for the assessment of built heritage and archaeological remains and for the mitigation of any impacts upon them and have particular expertise in preparing heritage statements, desk based assessments, conservation management plans, photographic surveys and historic building surveys. We also provide consultancy relating to environmental impact assessments and write cultural heritage chapters for environmental statements. In addition, Humble Heritage can act as expert witness to deal with heritage issues at public inquiries. Our geographical experience extends across much of the UK.
