"Martin Watts specialises in the recording and interpretation of agricultural and functional historic buildings, timber structures and machinery, in particular those connected with natural power sources and cereal processing. Particular expertise is available with regard to the analysis, interpretation and conservation of traditional watermills, windmills and animal-powered machinery, grain milling equipment and artefacts of all periods, including millstones and querns. Although based in the West Country, I have carried out work on mills and other historic buildings and structures throughout Britain."
