Abstract:
A walk-over survey was undertaken on 14 October 2009 along the route of a proposed new 11kv overhead line through Glen Douglas, between Loch Lomond and Loch Long. The only feature of archaeological significance found during the survey comprised the remains of an earth and stone boundary bank, centred on NS 32090 98008. It ran from a single-track, public road as far as the Douglas Water, a distance of some 60m. Its age is uncertain although it might predate drystone walls within the area.
