Abstract: |
Modern services and other obstructions inhibited excavations on the site. Where trenches could be excavated it seemed that there had been large-scale removal of the archaeological layers during the first half of the 20th century. The finds included a late 12th or 13th century carved capital, which may have come from a local ecclesiastical building. [Au(abr)] |
