Abstract:		 The report details the results of a watching brief during the ground work for new water and gas services in the area of St. Georges House and the Canons Cloister, St. Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle. The ground work entailed the excavation of two service trenches, one small trench immediately in front of St Georges House, in order to tap into an existing gas supply in this area, and a second larger trench that ran through the Canons Cloister garden area, adjacent to St. Georges Chapel.
