Abstract:		 A detailed magnetometer survey was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd on land adjacent to Kingsdown School, Stratton St Margaret, Swindon. The survey located a number of geophysical anomalies that are likely to be associated with the use of the site as a sports field, including linear anomalies possibly outlining a formerly enclosed area, buried services and zones of magnetic debris. Other weak linear anomalies were located but it has not been possible to provide a confident interpretation. Evidence for former ridge and furrow can be seen within the western half of the site.
