Abstract: |
Assessement identified eleven previously recorded sites adjacent to and within an area proposed for a quarry extension. These included a number of ring-ditches, the scheduled remains of Deserted Medieval Villages of Dunsby and Brauncewell and stray-finds of prehistoric flintwork and Roman pottery. Inspection of aerial photographs identified a series of triple linear ditches passing through Church Row Plantation with a single linear ditch to the west. [AIP] |
