Abstract:		 A magnetometer survey was undertaken to evaluate the site of a proposed residential development. Although geophysical anomalies were detected they did not appear to represent archaeological features. The anomalies that were detected were considered most likely to reflect the presence of ferrous litter within the soil. Any archaeological features that might have been present were likely to have been masked by the near-surface iron objects. [Au(adp)]
