Abstract:		 Archaeological Investigations Ltd. was commissioned to archaeologically evaluate the 140ha site at Court-y-Park, Pixley prior to its conversion to an 18 hole golf course and leisure facility. The evaluation results came from 29 trenches ranging in length from 30 to 110m and 1.9m wide. The most significant archaeology on the site was discovered on open farmland to the north of the proposed club house and leisure facility. Evidence for Roman metal-working was found in this area.
