Abstract:
Site excavation and building survey of the remains of a building located to the west side of Lower Black Moss Reservoir, prior to groundworks associated with the reprofiling of the landscape by United Utilities. Historical maps from the mid and late 19th century show there were buildings located within the groundworks area, possibly contemporary with the nearby sites of Over Houses Farm and Darney's Cottage
