Abstract:		 Desk-based assessment of a proposed location for off-site material disposal identified that no archaeological remains had been recorded at the site. However, remains recorded in the vicinity included Neolithic artefacts, Bronze Age and Anglo-Saxon barrows, late prehistoric settlement evidence, Roman roads, medieval pottery and a 17th century well. An archaeological evaluation was recommended. [AIP]
