Abstract: |
Following on from a mitigation strategy and walkover survey, a watching brief was undertaken over 21 days from 17 January to 22 February 2011 prior to the construction of a six turbine windfarm at Millour Hill in North Ayrshire. The area consists of wet, heathery moorland with deep deposits of peat. It was thought these might mask prehistoric archaeological remains, but nothing of archaeological significance was encountered in the project. |
