Abstract: |
An archaeological survey of Pembury Walks was undertaken during the winter of 2008/9 for the RSPB. Prior to the survey, there were no archaeological sites recorded on the Kent HER within Pembury Walks, although there is a single site in Tudeley Woods to the north, however a combination of desk top and field survey identified a total of 103 sites. This report discusses the methodology used in the survey, describes the archaeology recorded, and makes recommendations for further archaeological work. |
