Abstract: |
An evaluation involving geophysical survey, fieldwalking and trial trenching prior to mineral extraction found evidence of Roman activity. An enclosure had previously been located from aerial photographs and this was tied in with an extensive system of field boundaries. This site would seem to date from the 1st to 2nd centuries only, and be of above average status. Other features could not be dated. [Au(adp)] |
