Abstract: |
A desk based survey discovered the location of a number of archaeological sites which may be affected by the creation of a water pipeline. The sites included a deserted medieval settlement as well as the remains of other medieval settlement activity and a post-medieval railway. As a result the monitoring of the removal of the topsoil was stated in the report as being essential. [AIP] |
