Abstract:		 Archaeoligical Investigations Ltd. was commissioned to undertake archaeological monitoring of engineering holes being excavated at Eardisley Castle House, which is a Scheduled monument No. 86. An application had been submitted to the Department of Culture, Media and Sport to seek permission fur further investigation of subsidence under the present house. The site lies within the boundaries of Eardisley Motte and Bailey. No archaeological features or finds were recovered during the investigation.
