Abstract: |
In August 2003, the North Pennines Heritage Trust was commissioned by Mr J Galvin to undertake a Level 2 building survey on the mill and adjoining barn at Carwinley, near Longtown, Cumbria. The present range of buildings probably date to the nineteenth century. Documentary evidence shows that there was a corn mill on the site from at least the sixteenth century. |
