Abstract:		 Archaeological watching brief undertaken as a condition of planning permission in advance of the construction of a new datacentre at Heworth Hall, Shields Road, Tyne and Wear. The only archaeological feature or deposit encountered was a small, truncated drain of probable Post-medieval date.
