Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out and comprised the observations of ground disturbances at the site of a bungalow development situated at the southern limit of the medieval village of Sheriff Hutton. A single undated ditch furrow running west to east across the site, as well as evidence for a buried plough soil horizon was osberved. No other evidence was found for medieval or earlier settlement, or any other archaeology. [Au(adp)]
